Biographical Information
Gisele Moury is a Starfleet captain currently serving as commanding officer of USS Asaph Hall. She is a former 26th Fleet operations officer and admiralty adjutant who completed advanced command-track training to achieve a high-profile command.
Moury was assimilated as a child during a family cruise and underwent accelerated maturation during her development into a utility drone, but was recovered in 2408 and restored to her human state. An ethnic Bamileke from Cameroon, she speaks Yemba and Cameroonian French as her first languages. She notably holds up respected African captain and communicator Nyota Uhura and modern-era captain Imani Oyana as her career models.

Dr. Vegr reports our patient is a human whose genetic records match an African national named Gisele Moury, apparently lost twelve years ago aboard a passenger liner. It appears her development was accelerated by the Borg maturation process, as we’ve seen in other examples of assimilated children. In keeping with the Standing Order on Victims of Assimilation, I have authorized disconnection and de-assimilation procedures in the hopes of restoring Ms. Moury’s individuality.
